Good Manner I

Foundation skills

Build a strong foundation for basic obedience, socialization, and good manners,

Suitable for puppies & dogs who are new to or still work on their foundation.

  • ​​Class type: Ongoing – starts with a 5-class series.

  • Date: Mondays & Thursdays

  • Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

  • Pricing:

    • 5-Class Series:  $320

    • Drop-in: $74 (Intended as an occasional refresher)

Good Manner II

Intermediate skills

Advance obedience skills, reliability, and real-world manners.

For dog that passed Good Manner I or similar program and want to advance their manner.

  • Class type: on-going, start with 5 class series.

  • Dates: Tuesdays & Fridays

  • Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

  • Pricing:

    • 5-Class Series:  $320

    • Drop-in: $74 (Intended as an occasional refresher)

  • Trainer: Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA)

  • Method: 100% positive reinforcement.

Good Manner RX

Reactive Class

Specialized training for dogs with reactive or challenging behaviors. 

For dogs that have fear, anxiety, or aggression toward other dogs or people. 

  • Class type: Ongoing – starts with a 5-class series.

  • Dates: Mondays & Fridays

  • Time: 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM.

  • Pricing:

    • 5-Class Series:  $390

    • Drop-in: $87 (Intended as an occasional refresher)

    • House Manners: Potty training basics, crate comfort, and respecting boundaries.

    • Socialization: Safe interactions with people and other dogs; handling and grooming desensitization.

    • Confidence & Focus: Strengthen attention in busy or novel environments.

    • Reinforced Obedience: Strengthen sit, stay, down, come, and place commands with distance, duration, and distractions.

    • Structured Walking: Practice heel, loose-leash walking, and social walks in busy areas.

    • Impulse & Focus: Advanced impulse control exercises under environmental distractions.

    • Calm Social Interactions: Polite greetings, waiting for petting, and respecting boundaries (doors, furniture, food).

    • Leave It / Drop It: Extended work on resource control and appropriate object engagement.

    • Off-Leash Skills: Controlled off-leash exercises in safe environments.

    • Confidence Building: Exposure to crowds, noises, and public settings with calm reinforcement.

    • Owner Management & Consistency: Techniques for maintaining progress at home and in public.

    • Redirection Skills: Teach “watch me,” “look,” or other focus commands for self-control.

    • Impulse Control & Confidence: Exercises to build calm responses and confidence in challenging situations.

    • Calm Handling: Leash, positioning, and safety techniques for owners.

    • Counterconditioning: Reward calm behavior and reduce reactivity through positive reinforcement.

    • Behavior Modification Tools: Address jumping, pulling, resource guarding, remedial socialization, and separation anxiety.

    • Customized Support: One-on-one guidance for each dog’s unique needs and progress.

Agility series
  • Introduce basic agility skills and build confidence.

    • Practice tunnels, jumps, and safe landings.

    • Teach “follow” and directional cues.

    • Work on “start line stay” for structure.

    • Introduce simple 2-3 obstacle sequences.

    • Reinforce safe use of equipment.

    • Build handler focus in a fun setting.

    • Practice advanced obstacle combos.
