Service Description
For puppies or dogs new to training. Builds a strong foundation in obedience, manners, and socialization. Key Learning Areas: Basic Commands: Sit, down, stay, come, and wait commands. Intro leash manners: Introduce loose-leash walking and no-pull techniques. Impulse Control: Begin exercises to improve self-control and focus. Calm Greetings: Encourage polite greetings, reduce jumping on people. House Manners: Potty training basics, crate comfort, and respecting boundaries. Socialization: Safe and positive interactions with people and other dogs. Redirection: Guidance for nibbling, chewing, or other unwanted puppy behaviors. Confidence & Focus: Gradual exposure to new sounds, objects, and handling. Owner Management Tips: How to continue progress at home.
Cancellation Policy
Class Schedule & Cancellation Policy We encourage all clients to stick closely to their scheduled class time to ensure the best training outcomes for their dog and the group. Class Schedule Your class meets on the same day and at the same time each week for the full 5-class series. Consistent attendance helps your dog progress and keeps the group experience safe and effective for everyone. Cancellations & Make-Up Classes A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to be eligible for a make-up class. One missed class per series is allowed. For that missed class, we will offer a 15-minute make-up session at no charge, based on trainer availability. Additional missed classes are not eligible for make-ups. No-Shows Classes missed without at least 24 hours’ notice will be marked as a no-show. No-show classes are not eligible for make-ups or credits. How to prepare for the class: You’re welcome to bring one additional person to the class. Come with a slightly hungry dog. Make sure to walk your dog and allow potty breaks before class. What to bring to class: (Don’t worry if you don’t have everything for the first class — just bring what you can!) Small, soft, high-value treats (small pieces) Small treat pouch (or ziplock) to have quick access to rewards Standard leash & harness (no extendable/retractable leash) Favorite toy and/or chew item A large towel or blanket for “place” and “stay” exercises (larger than your dog — not a bed) Vaccination records (new dog only, upload to gingr profile)
